After sustaining a left knee capsule sprain and bone bruise last preseason, Jalen Suggs will be activated in the Orlando Magic’s season opener against the Detroit Pistons (h/t Khobi Price of The Orlando Sentinel)

Head coach Jamahl Mosley confirms the news. As such, Suggs’ progress is shocking considering that the injury could last for several weeks.

Suggs battled injury issues throughout his rookie season in 2021-22 which kept him from playing more than 50 games. He still averaged 11.8 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.6 boards per 27.2 minutes.
