After a troubling rookie year wherein he was bothered by plenty of right ankle issues and unavailability concerns, Jalen Suggs admitted that he was initially frustrated from another injury that appeared in his young NBA career.

But when the results were released and it turned out that the injury is not serious, the former Gonzaga star has finally taken a sigh of relief.

“Those things really can either go one of two ways — they can be the worst or be things that are really manageable,” Suggs said on Sunday, via Khobi Price of The Orlando Sentinel. “Thankfully, it was one of those really manageable things.”

Suggs, 20, sustained a left knee capsule sprain and bone bruise after he collided with Dorian Finney-Smith in the Orlando Magic’s preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks last Friday. X-rays have revealed that there are negative damages on his side regarding the unexpected incident.
