Ex-NBA forward Kenyon Martin opened up about the time he got into it with big man Alonzo Mourning while the two were teammates on the New Jersey Nets:
“My exact words was, ‘You need to worry about your motherf—— kidney before worrying about me.’ He didn’t like that too much,” Martin recalled during an interview.
Alonzo Mourning was diagnosed with a serious kidney disease shortly after winning a gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
