Willy Hernangomez has delivered some stern warning across the NBA about the return of Zion Williamson
“The most important thing is he’s hungry. He wants to destroy everybody,” Hernangomez said, according to Christian Clark of NOLA.com. “He wants to play hard. He wants to show people he’s one of the best players in the world. You can see that in practice.”
After over 500 days of absence due to a nagging foot and weight issues, Williamson has finally made a return this Tuesday, as the Pelicans are facing the Chicago Bulls for the preseason opener.
Williamson delivered some glimpse of his monstrous potential back in the 2020-21 season, wherein he averaged 27.0 points on 61.1 percent shooting, 7.2 boards and 3.7 assists.
