The Boston Celtics announced today that they have signed power forward Blake Griffin. Per team policy terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Griffin talks “welcoming” atmosphere with the Celtics after his first practice in Boston, and his first impressions of Joe Mazzulla as a head coach:
Griffin, a 6’9” forward, appeared in 56 games (24 starts) where he averaged 6.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 17.1 minutes per game for Brooklyn last season.
