Blake Griffin: “I talked to Brad [Stevens] two years ago when I was leaving Detroit”

The Boston Celtics announced today that they have signed power forward Blake Griffin. Per team policy terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Griffin, a 6’9” forward, appeared in 56 games (24 starts) where he averaged 6.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 17.1 minutes per game for Brooklyn last season.
