There were doubts about how Patrick Beverley will fit next to Russell Westbrook after he was traded to the Lakers by the Jazz because of a multi-year beef between the two players.
It appears that becoming teammates helped the two point guard iron things out and actually get on well. According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Beverley said that Russ has been his “best friend” since he was traded to the Lakers.
In addition, Pat Bev said that him and Westbrook come in to train before 7 a.m. and spend time in the gym together.
