Here’s a few 2022 NBA free agent notes.
- Top three free agents Miles Bridges, Collin Sexton, and Montrezl Harrell are still available as they deal with their current situations. Bridges is going through a felony domestic violence case, Sexton wants more money from Cleveland, and Harrell faces felony drug charges.
- Three surprise signings for me this summer were DeAndre Jordan (Denver), Gorgui Dieng (San Antonio), and Kent Bazemore (Sacramento). I thought big men like LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMarcus Cousins, Blake Griffin, Hassan Whiteside, Tristan Thompson, and Dwight Howard would have received deals over Jordan & Dieng. As for the guards/forwards, it was shocking to see Bazemore get a contract (non-guaranteed) over names like Dennis Schroder, Carmelo Anthony, Avery Bradley, Eric Bledsoe, Rajon Rondo, Lou Williams, Ben McLemore, Markieff Morris, Lance Stephenson, Isaiah Thomas, and PJ Dozier.
