The Boston Celtics have signed 2022 second-round draft pick J.D. Davison to a two-way contract. Per team policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Davison (6-3, 195), competed in 33 games (six starts) as a freshman at the University of Alabama in the 2021-22 season, averaging 8.5 points on 46.3% shooting (30.1% 3-PT), 4.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.0 steals in 25.8 minutes.
