Mexican-American forward Juan Toscano-Anderson earned his spot on the Warriors roster through the G League after playing for several years in his home country.

This year, which was his third season in Golden State, the 29-year-old became the first Mexican to win an NBA championship. JTA took the Larry O’Brien trophy to Mexico and shared a message to the Dub nation.

“What’s good, Dub Nation? Out here in Mexico City. Bringing the trophy to Mexico for the very first time. I’m super excited. And hopefully we can bring many more here,” Toscano-Anderson said.
