The San Antonio Spurs will permit Zach Collins to earn full-time for next year.

The club has decided to guarantee the big man’s salary for the 2022-2023 season (h/t team insider Tom Orsborn). Collins inked a three-year, $22 million deal with the Spurs last offseason, wherein only the first season (2021-2022) was fully guaranteed.

From being partially guaranteed ($3.675 million), Collins is now set to earn a full $7.35 million wage for next year. Still, his final year salary in 2023-2024 remains unsecured.

Battling frequent injuries, Collins only appeared in 28 occasions for the Spurs last season, painting an average of 7.8 points, 5.5 boards, 2.2 dimes per over 17 minutes of time on the court.

The Spurs failed to reach the playoffs for the third-straight season.
