According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Atlanta Hawks are promoting assistant GM Landry Fields to the title of general manager, beginning on July 1. Fields will continue to work under President of Basketball Operations Travis Schlenk in the Hawks’ front office. Fields, 33, played five years in the NBA before beginning his front office career with the Spurs. He joined the Hawks as an assistant GM in 2020.
