Jordan Poole had an off night in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The 22-year-old shooting guard scored 9 points on 2/7 shooting (1/5 three-pointers).

His contribution was missed as the Warriors lost the game against the Celtics 120-108. Golden State’s assistant coach Kenny Atkinson says that Poole has to be aggressive and that he is key to the Dubs winning a championship this year.

“He’s got to stay aggressive,” Kenny Atkinson said, via Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports. “We’re not winning this thing without Jordan Poole. That’s just the truth of it, and he knows it.”

In his first NBA Playoffs Poole is averaging 17.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 29.8 minutes per game.
