According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Golden State Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson has emerged as a front-runner for Charlotte’s head coaching job and will meet again next week with Hornets officials, this time including owner Michael Jordan.
Kenny Atkinson spent three-plus years as head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, whom he led to a playoff appearance in his third season in 2018-19.
