A comment, made by Draymond Green on his own podcast, received a response from his former teammate Kevin Durant. The Warriors forward said that Steph Curry got doubled team seven times the amount that Durant did.
KD did not agree with the comment. “From my view of it, this is 100% false…” the Nets superstar tweeted in response to a Twitter user posting a quote from Green’s podcast.
Green reacted by saying that Durant should listen to the whole show to understand the context of his quote ‘before he gets baited into tweeting.’
It seems there was no bad blood between the two as Durant politely explained that he likes Green’s show, but he did not agree with this particular quote.
“Oh I seen it my brethren, I appreciate the compliments but I disagree with what u said about double teams that’s all. I love the show,” the two-time NBA champion tweeted.
