The NBA’s newest batch of rising stars has finally gained its own recognition for this season.
The league officially released on Wednesday the voting result of the 2021-2022 All-Rookie First and Second team members. Rookie of the Year winner Scottie Barnes, Evan Mobley and Cade Cunningham headlines the whole list.
The first team also includes Jalen Green and Franz Wagner. On the other hand, Josh Giddey, Herb Jones, Ayo Dosunmu, Bones Hyland and Chris Duarte fill in for the second team.
Barnes grabbed the best rookie honors upon helping the Toronto Raptors to clinch the fifth-seed of the Eastern Conference. On the side of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Mobley has been a huge revelation of their sudden rise.
Though he endured a rough start, Cunningham carved through and had a late season blooming as the centerpiece of the Detroit Pistons.
The winners were released prior to the opener of the Dallas Mavericks-Golden State Warriors West Finals clash.
