Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham talked about possibly tying the NBA’s all-time record for losses in a season following Thursday’s 119-111 home loss vs. the Utah Jazz (25-game losing streak).

(via Bally Sports Detroit):

Johnny Kane: “You guys are now one loss away from the all-time mark. Is that on your mind? Does it almost feel like you can’t get out of this point?”

Cunningham: “Yeah, it’s definitely on my mind. That’s history that no one wants to be a part of. So, we’re trying to build something that’s sustainable. It’s not like we’re just trying to go out there and win one game, we want to win multiple games. But to be on the wrong side of history, nobody wants to be there. That’s definitely an extra edge that we have to have. We should have won this game, but we didn’t, so we’ve got to come back next game and be locked in and be more solid. I’ve got to come in and be locked in and be more solid down the stretch for us.”
