Nikola Jokic along Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo are the three favorites to win this year’s NBA MVP. If the Nuggets superstar wins it, it would his second MVP in a row.

But it is not something that the Serbian center is dreaming about. While understanding the significance of winning the prestigious award, he won’t be not too stressed if another players gets instead of him.

“I never dream about it. It’s something that if it happens, it happens,” Jokic said after Game 5. “It’s a great thing of course. It’s something probably [impact my] legacy, my name is always gonna be there.

“But if I don’t get, I’m not gonna die. I’m just gonna keep playing, keep trying to play the right way like I did my whole life. It would be nice but if it happens, it happens.”
