The Boston Celtics completed a four-game sweep of the Brooklyn Nets, becoming the first team to reach the second round of the playoffs with a 116-112 win on Monday night.

Jayson Tatum scored 29 points and Jaylen Brown added 22 for the Celtics. On the other hand, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving had 39 and 20 points, respectively, for the Nets.

After the game, Brooklyn star forward Kevin Durant reflected on the Nets’ season: “I’m proud of how we just kept fighting and kept keeping the faith. Every day was trying to work toward something. You can take that away from the season.”
