The reception of the New York crowd hasn’t been good all along for Julius Randle in this lowly season.

After reports have scattered on Wednesday that the one-time All-star is forcing his way to leave the Big Apple in a ‘James Harden type of way,’ the Knicks faithful seems to deliver their frustration again on Randle in the player introduction of their team’s current matchup against the Charlotte Hornets.

Mixed reactions were launched by the spectators inside the Madison Square Garden after the big man was called up by the PA announcer.

Randle and the Knicks are enduring a bittersweet relationship this 2022 campaign. Following a promising 2021 finish wherein they reached the playoffs for the first time since 2013, New York stumbled with a 34-42 record with no clear signs of further contention even for the Play-in spot.

Who knows what will happen in the offseason, but as these alarming things are rising on both sides , they might head to different pathways for the better.
