The Atlanta Hawks will deal with another critical blow, as John Collins will be sidelined due to a foot injury.

Shams Charania and Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reported on Thursday that the high flying forward succumbed from plantar fascia tear in his right foot. The Hawks didn’t release any timetable for Collin’s re-evaluation.

Collins endured playing with an injured ring finger and foot pain. Earlier this Thursday, Sarah K. Spencer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution stated that the fourth-year pro is seeking a second opinion with regards to his condition.

With Atlanta currently sitting at the 10th spot of the East with a 34-35 record, dealing for survival towards playoff contention without Collins is definitely a tough blow, who is averaging 16.2 points, 7.8 boards, 1.8 assists in 52 percent field goal shooting.
