The Lakers expected to come out strong after the NBA All-Star break but so far they have lost both games and are further away from a direct playoff spot. Not only that, Los Angeles is on thin ice and couldn’t drop out of the play-in zone in case of few more loses.

LeBron James described this season as ‘different’ after a blowout loss against the Pelicans. “Obviously, last two losses have been… in a Clipper game we were right there and obviously couldn’t finish the game and tonight versus Pelican team,” the four-time NBA champion said. “We’ve been playing, like I said, we’re playing some good ball of late. This season is definitely different.”

James was once again the top scorer for the Lakers with 32 points but also made 7 turnovers, some of which he described as horrible.
