As he is yet to miss his 31st game of the season, Markieff Morris has now spoken about hardships in his recovery from the Nikola Jokic body check.

And coming from the direct sentiments of the Miami Heat forward, things aren’t certainly easy.

Amid the uncertainties and the looming worries from the Heat nation about his current condition, he still dropped a promise that he’ll be back soon in the hardwood.

Last November, Morris and Jokic had an infamous tackle exchange, wherein the former splashed from the floor after the forceful charge of the reigning league MVP as his response. Since then, the veteran has missed all the games wearing the black and white uniform, due to a neck injury.

Who knows what will unfold in the next several weeks, but as it looks like, Morris has to trust his recovery process.

Though missing his reliable production off the bench, the Heat are still in a firm grasp of the East’s fourth spot and kicking as a title contender.
