A recent game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets was marked by Markieff Morris and Nikola Jokic shoving one another. It further escalated on social media as Markieff’s brother Marcus as well as Jokic’s brothers got involved.
According to P.J. Tucker, this situation is over and it is time to move on. He was initially worried about the health of Morris, but once realizing that he is fine, he can’t wait to get him back on the court.
“We’re men, man,” Tucker said. “We’ve got kids. You’ve got to think about our livelihoods. It’s not just basketball. Guys have to protect each other and have each others’ back. That situation is over and we’ve got to move on and get ready for tonight and the next two games.”
