Russell Westbrook had a tough game against the Minnesota Timberwolves as he missed all five of his three-pointers and also made nine turnovers.

The 33-year-old point guard was far from his usual triple-double, but he still scored 20 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and dished 5 assists. According to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, Westbrook is making progress.

“I think he’s gotten better, I think we’ve seen that over the course of the last three-four weeks,” Vogel said postgame. “Had a tough night tonight. But he’s improving and we’re evolving offensively some of the guys are in different spots and some of that is the pieces moving around him, not just him.
