The Los Angeles Lakers snapped a five-game losing streak with a road win against the Houston Rockets. Four players scored 24 or more points for the winners as David Fizdale trimmed the rotation to eight players.

LeBron James and Russell Westbrook both had triple-doubles, but, according to Lakers legend James Worthy, it was Carmelo Anthony and Malik Monk that stood out.

“It was a much needed win,” Worthy said on Spectrum SportsNet. “On the road they seem to be able to get together a little bit more focused than when they’re at home. I thought LeBron continued to do what he’s been what he’s been doing for the last five or six games. He led this team tonight, so did Westbrook.

“The two elites, I think they had triple-doubles so you have to give them credit for leadership. But two guys that really stood out to me was Carmelo off the bench 24 [points] and 9 [rebounds] and also Malik Monk.”
