Until last night, Isaiah Thomas had played his last NBA game back in April. Despite a long break, the 32-year-old point guard was able to put up a decent performance during his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers as he scored 19 points in 22 minutes of play coming off the bench.

After the game, Russell Westbrook was asked to talk about Thomas’ return to the league. “Just known him over the years, ups and downs as an athlete. For him to see him back, I know he’s extremely thankful and blessed to be back in the league. Just happy to be able to see him get an opportunity to be able to play.”
