The Sacramento Kings canceled today’s practice, shut down the practice facility and have growing concerns whether a COVID outbreak will allow them to play their next game on Dec. 17 against the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The team is continuing to test and retest players and staff.

Interim head coach Alvin Gentry, big man Marvin Bagley and guard Terence Davis all entered the league’s health and safety protocols on Dec. 15 and the Kings have concerns that more individuals, both players and staff, could be headed that way too.

The Kings just played the Washington Wizards, so the Wizards could be subject to more testing today before their game against the Phoenix Suns to ensure that they don’t have any positive cases.

There should be another update on the team’s situation in the near future.
