FC Barcelona fans didn’t have a warm welcome for Thomas Heurtel, who returned to Palau Blaugrana for the first time as an opponent.

Heurtel spent part of the 2020/21 season with the Catalans, but parted ways with the team following a series of incidents between him and the management.

In the offseason, the French guard signed with Real Madrid and made his first appearance at Palau Blaugrana as an opponent on Friday night.

Heurtel went for 11 points, on 4/13 shooting, but it was FC Barcelona that claimed the victory in the first El Clasico of the season (93-80).

The hosts climbed to the top of the table with a 12-2 record, whereas the “Whites” now are second, at 11-3.
