As things are getting heated while currently facing a paternal lawsuit, Tristan Thompson has suspectedly claimed that he will retire after the 2021-2022 season.

From initial reports of Page Six, Maralee Nichols, the personal trainer of the Sacramento Kings big, have filed a lawsuit saying that Thompson wants the baby she has within her womb to be aborted. In the evidence filed by Nichols to the court, a text message remains a focal point of investigation, wherein the Canadian cager allegedly said that he is planning to retire next season and “won’t be involved at all.”

“Btw if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It’s completely wrong,” Thompson allegedly wrote. “You are aware that I’m retiring after this season. So in terms of support it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who’s unemployed. It’s Texas so it will be only a couple hundred dollars.

“So you better off taking this 75k I’m offering cause you won’t get nothing near that with having a kid with a father who’s unemployed. All you will have is a baby with a father who has zero involvement with the child and a few hundred dollars of child support a month.”

Currently, Thompson has two children from his two former partners — True, with his ex Khloe Kardashian, and Prince, with ex Jordan Craig.

It would be shocking to see that Thompson, at 30 years of age and still kicking and producing numbers, will hang it up. The big man is now in the final season of his two-year deal with Sacramento worth $19 million dollars wherein he is averaging 5.5 markers, 5.6 boards in 14 minutes of exposure.
