In a day that he received the award for the most valuable player for October, FC Barcelona star forward Nikola Mirotic was named MVP of the week for EuroLeague Round 9.

Mirotic had one of the most efficient games of his career as he led his team to a big 93-67 win over Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. He spent only 18 minutes and 20 seconds on the floor on Thursday night.

The veteran forward finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one steal. Mirotic made four two-pointers and three-pointers apiece on a perfect shooting night, and also hit 5-of-6 free throws.

He finished with a performance index rating of 37, tying his career-high, and the best in Round 9. Mirotic has already made a strong case, being among the favorites for the regular season’s MVP honors, especially if he continues his dominant performances.
