Sacramento Kings’ star Marvin Bagley III refused to enter the game during the second half of the contest vs. the Phoenix Suns Sunday, as reported by ABC 10’s Sean Cunningham.

Bagley, 22, has appeared in just one game this season for the Kings and frustrations have been mounting. During the first week of the season, the Kings placed the four-year player out of their rotation.

The young forward is heading for restricted free agency after the 2021-22 campaign, barring a major change, it’s hard to think any way he could play in Sacramento next season.

So far, Bagley, who was selected second overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Kings, has had a disappointing four-year career in Sacramento, averaging 14.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

In October, his agent Jeff Schwartz put the Kings on blast when he started the season out of the rotation. Since then, Bagley sporadically is part of Luke Walton’s rotation.
