Carmelo Anthony had another big performance coming off the bench for the Los Angeles Lakers in a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder as he scored 21 points in 32 minutes of play and was the team’s third top scorer.

The 37-year-old forward thinks that the Lakers should have won this game and that it had nothing to do with LeBron James being out due to injury.

“We’re still work in progress,”Anthony said postgame. “We played some good basketball last couple of games. Any time you’re missing a guy like LeBron, you still have to make those adjustments, guys got to do things that maybe it’s not called upon them to do when we have a guy like LeBron out there.

“But for the most part we shouldn’t have lost this one. It ain’t come down to LeBron being out. We let this one go again. We shouldn’t have lost this one.”
