Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis injured his right thumb in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder but was able to play till the end. He finished the game with a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds.
During a postgame press conference he was asked whether he will play on Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers. “We’ll see how it feels,” Davis said, indicating that his status is unclear.
This season the 28-year-old forward is averaging 25 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Lakers.
