Despite having a 19-point lead in the second quarter, the Los Angeles Lakers were unable to keep it and were defeated by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Russell Westbrook was the second top scorer for the losing squad, with 27 points in 35 minutes of play. He also added 6 rebounds and 5 assists. After the game, he was asked what led to his team’s loss.

“Not sure. We’ll watch it and see kind of what happens. Third, start of the fourth [quarter] they played small faster than we did. Simple as that,” Westbrook said postgame.
