Anthony Davis had a big double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds for the Los Angeles Lakers, but it wasn’t enough to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was the team’s second loss to OKC.

The Lakers were unable to hang on a 19-point lead they had in the second quarter (44-25) as the Thunder came closer and finished on top in a tight game.

“I think our biggest thing is just keeping leads,” Davis said postgame. “That kind of been our MO since I’ve been here. We have no problem building leads 10,20, 30-point leads. It’s how you play with them. And we struggled to do that. A lot last year and even this year and especially with this team.

“I think we’re up 19 and then they come back again and win the game. Kind of the same thing up there. Even against Cleveland, Houston we had the same thing. We won those games but we got to do a better job of still being able to score the basketball and continue to get stops.

“We know teams are going to make runs, it’s a game of runs but we got to do a better job of playing with the lead and continuing to play the right way.”
