After a 106-93 home turf defeat to the visiting Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant was asked what his team currently misses.

And the two-time champion didn’t even hold back to tell a particular name.

“I know what you want me to say,” Durant said, laughing.

“Yeah, we do miss Kyrie [Irving]. We do. He’s part of our team.”

But, Durant clarified what he told earlier before the question — the Nets are “generating good shots”, but they need to knock them down consistently.

Brooklyn slid down to 2-3 record, as KD tallied 25 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort. His star tandem, James Harden, was still on a slugging start in this new season in terms of scoring, just having 14 markers, 7 boards and 7 assists.

Harden said that as much as he wants to grab huge scoring numbers, he can’t do it as he continues to recover and build such confidence after the hamstring injury he sustained last season.

The Nets will face the Indiana Pacers for their fourth-game home stand on Friday.
