The Brooklyn Nets were reluctant to trade James Harden, despite of his lack of discipline, a report by Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report reveals.

It was not uncommon for the 32-year-old superstar to travel separately from the team and spend time clubbing in his favorite locations.

Reportedly, Harden was disappointed by Kyrie Irving’s lack of accountability and the burden of having to be the sole superstar while Irving and Kevin Durant were out.

As the trade deadline was getting close, the Beard distanced himself from the team which was a clear indication that he does not want to remain in Brooklyn.

But it wasn’t until Durant approved the trade that the Nets’ front office sent Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers. KD hoped that the situation will sort itself out but in the end concluded that it was better to make the swap.
