The Los Angeles Lakers will once again play in front of fans at Staples Center when the 2021-2022 season begins. LeBron James is excited to play in front of Lakers faithful after getting a brief taste of it during preseason.

“It was kind of just a sampler platter I would say,” the four-time NBA champion said about the preseason games at Staples Center. “It made me cherish the moments that I had previous with the fans in the building but also even look more forward into what was going to happen in the future and that is beginning tomorrow night.

“Being a Laker is one special thing. It makes it even more special when you actually get on the floor with the Laker faithful and they’re in the building. Looking forward to that.”

The Lakers will open the regular season with three home games in a row. Their first opponent will be the Warriors, followed by the Suns and Grizzlies.
