After a game-saving play vs Monaco, FC Barcelona center Brandon Davies named Round 4’s MVP with a performance index rating of 38.
This was the highest by any EuroLeague player so far this season. Davies matched career highs with 27 points and six offensive rebounds. He had a total of 10 boards and four assists, helping FC Barcelona remain undefeated.
He also made 10 of 15 two-point shots, including the put-back that forced an overtime against Monaco. The Catalans went on to earn the 81-85 win in the extra period to stay on top.
“At halftime, we definitely had to change some things. It came down to our effort defensively and that transitioned into a better offense,” Davies said afterwards.
