The Dallas Mavericks are planning to travel to Europe next preseason and play at Real Madrid and in Slovenia.

According to Marc Stein of Substack, the Mavs will proceed with their plan if they receive permission from the NBA. Similarly, the Golden State Warriors have in mind to travel to Tokyo for an exhibition game.

“The Warriors are tentatively scheduled to make a preseason trip to Japan next season, sources say. And Dallas remains intent on playing exhibition games at Real Madrid and in Slovenia as soon as it’s permissible,” Stein writes.

Of course, the plan of the Dallas Mavericks is about Luka Doncic. The young superstar is the leader of Slovenia and led his team to the gold medal in the 2017 EuroBasket. Meanwhile, he also helped Slovenia finish fourth in the Olympics last summer.

At the same, Doncic was the best player of Real Madrid back in 2018 and led the “Whites” to the EuroLeague title.
