The preseason game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies did not get past the third quarter following a fire alarm going off at the FedEx Forum on Tuesday night.

The fixture wasn’t all that grand to begin with, as the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Dillon Brooks were all sidelined. But any basketball will do right now. Unfortunately, the contest was suspended at the end of the third period and it was decided that it would not continue in order to ensure the safety of the players.

A spokesperson for the Grizzlies would announce that the alarm was false and the team later tweeted it was caused by a sprinkler being accidentally tripped.

The Grizzlies were up 87-77 when the game was called off.
