The Minnesota Timberwolves officially announced their decision to part ways with GM and President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas.
Even though they released a statement to announce their decision, the Timberwolves don’t explain why they let Rosas go just days before the training camp.
“Today, the Minnesota Timberwolves parted ways with President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas. As an organization, we remain committed to building a winning team that our fans and city can be proud of,” the statement reads.
Rosas took over the role of GM in the Timberwolves back in 2019. However, Minnesota failed to build a competitive team in the next two seasons, finishing at the bottom of the Western Conference.
