Brooklyn Nets added another big to their frontline by signing former Los Angeles Lakers’ center Devontae Cacok. Cacok spent the last two seasons of his career with the Lakers as a two-way deal.

In 21 games, he recorded averages of 2.1 points on 57.1 percent shooting from the field and 1.8 rebounds in 5.1 minutes per contest. He was a part of the Lakers’ team that won the 2020 NBA championship.

During the 2019-20 season, the 24-year-old big man appeared in 33 games with the Lakers’ G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. He posted averages of 19.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 23.9 minutes per game.

After his incredible G League run, the  UNC Wilmington product earned All-NBA G League First Team and NBA G League All-Rookie Team honours.
