Fenerbahce added former Besiktas guard Sehmus Hazer by signing him to a three-year deal, the club announced Sunday. Hazer joins Fener, after participating in the Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Hazer spent the past season with Besiktas. He put up 14.9 points, 4.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds in the Turkish BSL League while posting 14.0 points, 4.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds in the FIBA Europe Cup.
Hazer made his debut in the Turkish BSL during the 2017-18 season with Banvit. He spent three seasons there, before joining Besiktas last summer.
This will be Hazer’s first experience in a top-tier European basketball competition like the EuroLeague.
