Maccabi Tel-Aviv has been forced to withdraw from a third straight preseason tournament.

The Israeli powerhouse is dealing with several coronavirus cases and is struggling with its preparation for the new season.

As a result, Maccabi will not play in the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournamen” next week, as hosts Panathinaikos announced.

Despite its struggles, Maccabi is expected to be ready for the start of the new EuroLeague season on September 30.
