According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, veteran big man DeAndre Jordan is expected to sign a one-year, $2.6 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers after he clears waivers, and neither veteran sports media personality Chris Broussard nor radio host and standout television personality Nick Wright thinks this is a big move for the Lakers. A former All-Star center spent the last two seasons with the Brooklyn Nets, bouncing in and out of the starting lineup during his tenure. Over 113 games – 49 of those in the starting lineup – Jordan has averaged 7.9 points and 8.7 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per game.
