With Ben Simmons soon to be traded, the Philadelphia 76ers are trying to find the best possible trade package for him ahead of the 2021-22 season campaign.

Shaquille O’Neal weighed in on the Ben Simmons’ drama, and the former Lakers legend and Hall of Famer does not think Simmons will return to Philly for the start of the season.

“I say no,” Shaq recently said in Complex. “He hasn’t had a lot of communication with them this summer. He hasn’t gotten any better over the last four years. If you don’t have communication with upstairs it’s not going to go well.

Philly fans gave up on him, or are starting to give up on him. It’ll probably be good for him to go somewhere else. But I follow him and he’s been shooting that jumper on his page. So if he does comeback his jumper better be Steph Curry’s.”

Simmons will have a lot to prove next season, after his disappointing play in the playoffs with the Philadelphia 76ers, especially against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Australian defensive superstar uploaded a clip in his social media pages, showing Simmons taking and making jumpers during a workout session.
