Los Angeles Clippers may try to add a player that helped their opponents down them in the last few seasons, as the franchise is heading towards the 2021-22 campaign.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported on Monday that the Clippers are interested in signing veteran forward Paul Millsap. The Clippers could need a deeper roster this season with Kawhi Leonard out for most of the next year.

The 36-year-old savvy veteran still had respectable averages of 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in 20.8 minutes a game last season for the Denver Nuggets.

His role diminished this past season, however he was a huge part of Denver’s 3-1 comeback against the Clippers in the 2019 playoffs.

The potential fit with the Clippers is there for Millsap, despite the fact that the team managed to add/re-sign Nicolas Batum and Justise Winslow this summer.
