Kevin Love is negotiating a buy-out with the Cleveland Cavaliers and is expected to receive interest from the Nets and the Lakers should he become a free agent.

Love has two years and $60M left on his contract with the Cavs, but he will likely leave Cleveland following the trade of Lauri Markkanen from the Chicago Bulls.

The veteran forward has been struggling with injuries over the past few years and has failed to help the Cavs reach the playoffs in the East.

However, he could be a decent solution for the Nets’ frontline, which now includes DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin and Nicolas Claxton.

Brooklyn is also interested in Cavs big man Isaiah Hartenstein, with the team recently attending one of Hartenstein’s workouts, according to Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

For their part, the Lakers could also get involved in Kevin Love, if the Cavs buy him out, as the 2020 NBA champions are in search for a guard and a big man to complete their roster.
